1st Shift - CNC Machinist - Pay up to 32/hr (Depending on experience)Call 330 224 1231 to set up an interview!Shift:
6:00am - 4:00pm
Job Description - Work with CNC equipment (Horizontal Machining Center, HBM, VTL, and Vertical Milling Center)
Interpret Prints and Drawings
Program, review, edit, troubleshoot machining process,
Load parts using overhead crane (large parts 20 ton plus is typical)
Set Up, mill, turn, drill, tap fabrications on live spindle vtl
Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions, and reference points on first run parts.
Clean and inspect parts,
Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
Calculate and set controls to regulate machine (Speed, feed, depth, angle of cut)
Perform routine maintenance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or graduation from a certified technical school
Experience in job shop/fabrication environment
3-5 years prior CNC Machining experience with a preference on large turning centers.
Experience machining medium to heavy plate fabrications
Solid knowledge of reading and interpreting blue prints, performing set-ups and editing programs in G & M code
Willingness to be cross trained across multiple pieces of equipment
Adherence to safe work practices
