Overview Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Structural Engineer to join the 88th CEG at WPAFB. Responsibilities
- Perform planning and design work for multi-phase new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for real property facilities, including but not limited to, utility systems, utilizing a professional knowledge of civil engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
- Prepare, develop or review design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, underlying analysis, technical drawings, and specifications related to a wide variety of projects and systems, to include: airfields, roadways, site/area development, drainage, foundations, structures, transportation; drainage and other systems of major size and complexity for use on a military installation, airfields, multi-story office buildings, large utility plants, hospitals, hangars, flight simulators, and similar structures.
- Serve as a Structural Engineer for the installation's horizontal and vertical construction: provide guidance to Civil Engineering design and construction team members, monitor progress throughout a project, assist in resolving technical conflicts, and report results to Customer and Organization leadership.
- Serve prepare and/or provide technical review of structural engineering issues to include calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, and project requirements.
- Serve independently examine the structural integrity of existing structures with observed deficiencies to identify emergency and long-term repair projects including scope, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Manage the development of in-house and externally prepared designs of WPAFB facilities and infrastructure maintenance, repair, renovation and construction projects utilizing structural engineering education and experience
- Active Secret clearance required
- ABET-accredited bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of three years of experience working on structures required.
- Professional registration desired but not required
- AutoCad, BUILDER, and RSMeans experience required.
