Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to become a part of our team, based in Worthington, Ohio. This role revolves around providing technical support to our internal team, with a specific focus on Linux OS and pfsense firewall systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT trouble tickets, ensuring network security, and maintaining effective communication with our support teams.Responsibilities: Offer support and solutions for IT-related issues, primarily focusing on network, software, and firewall problems. Utilize Freshservice ticketing system to manage and resolve IT trouble tickets efficiently. Maintain, learn, and apply knowledge of Linux (primarily Centos) OS to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Work with pfsense firewall systems, setting up security rules and best practices to ensure robust network security. Collaborate effectively with both US-based and India-based support teams to address IT-related concerns. Communicate with internal employees through various channels such as phone, email, Teams, and other chat systems to provide support and solutions. Display a proactive attitude in identifying the root cause of problems and troubleshooting them creatively. Apply knowledge of Android Development, Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Computer Hardware, Dell Technologies, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, Configuration Management to enhance performance and user experience.
