Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in WILLOUGHBY, Ohio. In this role, you will manage and train your direct reports, work closely with the operations team to enhance financial accuracy and performance, and prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements and reports. You will also be responsible for maintaining procedures and policies to ensure numerical accuracy and compliance with GAAP and governmental regulations.Responsibilities: Manage, train, and develop all direct reports. Collaborate closely with the operations team to enhance financial accuracy and performance. Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements and reports that summarize business activity based on past, present, and expected operations. Implement and maintain procedures and policies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial numbers. Ensure compliance with GAAP and governmental regulations. Direct the efforts of all external auditors, including the preparation of necessary work papers and requests. Oversee accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Carry out auditing processes to ensure financial accuracy. Manage and oversee budget processes. Handle customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements Proficient in Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Skilled in Auditing practices and procedures Familiarity with Budget Processes Ability to oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent leadership and team management abilities Outstanding communication skills Proficiency in financial software and databases Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
