Network Administrator

Description We are on the lookout for a Network Administrator in the service industry, based out of WESTLAKE, Ohio, United States. The Network Administrator will be responsible for maintaining network systems, ensuring the smooth operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for the users.Responsibilities: Oversee the configuration and deployment of Cisco Routers and other technologies. Implement and manage firewall technologies for network security. Maintain and troubleshoot Nexsan Storage and Pure Storage networks. Monitor and manage VMware infrastructure and SAN - Storage Area Network. Handle Active Directory services for user authentication and access management. Ensure Configuration Management of all network devices and systems. Resolve network related issues using Citrix and Dell Technologies. Effectively operate Palo Alto Firewall to secure network infrastructure. Manage computer hardware resources and coordinate computer network access and use. Establish and maintain backup technologies to ensure data security and recovery. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Administrator role or a similar position Proficiency in managing Cisco Routers and other Cisco Technologies Solid understanding of Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies Demonstrated knowledge of Firewall Technologies, including Palo Alto Firewall Experience with Active Directory and Backup Technologies Ability to troubleshoot and repair Computer Hardware Proficient in Configuration Management and Deployments Familiarity with SAN - Storage Area Network Experience with VMware and VMware Infrastructure Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Relevant certifications in networking or related fields are preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
