If you are interested in beginning your path towards a fulfilling career then we encourage you to explore an opportunity with us!Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Perform physical and chemical extractions of samples for analysisRecord accurate observations during the extraction processCollect ATR and flow cell FTIR spectra of solid and liquid samplesRun IC analysis on lab samplesRun HPLC analysis on lab samplesPrepare sample mixtures for laboratory testingMaintain an organized and clean workspaceAssist main lab with standard testing when neededAssist fuel lab when neededAssist with the intake of samples by looking up, setting up and batch receiving samples as needed/directedTake part in and contribute to departmental projects and goalsRequired knowledge, skills and abilities:Basic microscope skillsBasic laboratory skills and techniques - measuring, weighing, mixing etc.Customer-orientedMaintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic and personal integrityComputer literate with basic knowledge regarding Microsoft Office programsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to be a team player and work with a variety of peopleAbility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-past work environmentAbility to multitask while maintaining a high level of efficiency without sacrificing quality
