Sourcing Analyst - Springfield , OH

POSITION TITLE: Sourcing Analyst – Konecranes Hoist Americas (KHA) LOCATION: Springfield, OHIO Job Summary :Develop and manage sourcing strategies and objectives driving improvements for assigned Products and Services. Will be responsible for identifying, developing and executing cost reduction plans and frame agreements. Support cross-functional strategic sourcing teams that are accountable for execution and implementation of sourcing strategies. Position Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies2. Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support the procurement process3. Enhance the supplier base and supplier relationships4. Negotiate favorable pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers5. Generate RFP’s/quotes, and perform cost and price analysis6. Implement new supplier agreements and perform supplier assessments7. Coordinate the team review and assessment of new candidate suppliers including managing the approval process through to production approval8. Generate and present supplier performance metrics to suppliers and manage associated corrective actions9. Lead sourcing project teams10. Coordinate and work with Quality, Engineering and Production in the supplier/part approval process.11. Perform other duties as assigned.
