Description We are on the hunt for a Controller to be a part of our team in the Service industry, situated in SHEFFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio, 44054-2424, United States. In this role, you will be entrusted with managing our company's accounting functions, working in a dynamic environment with multiple deadlines, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial operations. Responsibilities: Develop an improved accounting system in collaboration with the management team that monitors and reports key factors. Generate financial reports within stipulated deadlines. Uphold accuracy across all accounting processes. Manage accounts receivable ensuring that all are accurately invoiced and payments are received within agreed terms. Oversee accounts payable ensuring all are accurately recorded and payments are made within agreed terms. Handle foreign exchange (China) payments according to terms. Assist in managing foreign currency hedges. Oversee the company's cash accounts and investments to realize maximum returns while meeting all obligations. Ensure that payroll is accurately and timely entered into the 3rd party system. Advocate for data-driven decision-making within the company. Utilize skills in Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, and QuickBooks Enterprise. Requirements Proficiency in managing Accounting Functions Experience in Auditing Knowledge of Budget Processes Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field Proven experience as a Controller or similar role Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information Strong leadership and organizational abilities Excellent communication skills Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred.
