Machines: CNC Okuma mills and lathes with Fanuc controls
Set ups per day: 2-3
Tolerances: down to 5 tenths of a thou
Typical lot size: 1-10
Machinist's will be given a work sheet each shift with a program code on the sheet. The program will give all of the steps to set up the machine (necessary tools, jaws, vices, locks, etc.)
When the machine is running, machinist's will make sure everything is running correctly and adjust speeds and feeds if necessary.
Machinists will also be responsible for proofing and quality checks on all parts utilizing micrometers, calipers & gauges.
Shifts & Schedules:
3rd shift- 10PM-7AM
Sunday-Thursday
Pay:
$17-23 an hour
$2 shift differential
