DESCRIPTION: This is a working Account Manager position assigned primarily on the day shift, currently supervising 3 Shift Supervisors, a Project Manager, and overseeing six security officers per shift totaling 1256 hours of coverage seven days a week.JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Security Program at FIRST SOLAR in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Ensures the correct and consistent administration of the FIRST SOLAR and Securitas Service Agreement. Researches and makes recommendations on the implementation of Best Demonstrated Practices (BDP) and other key initiatives; ensures FIRST SOLAR/Securitas policies and procedures are updated, implemented and adhered to.
Assures all Baseline hours are scheduled and worked. Reviews and audits weekly the billing of baseline and service request hours and takes corrective actions. Assists the District Manager in the approval of overtime scheduling to control security cost and overtime.
Inspects each Security Post daily, checking for post housekeeping, Post Orders, Post Expectations, Post Procedure Manual and necessary emergency call listing.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining records of officers and supervisors required pre-site assignment training, on-site training and annual training; conducting site specific training; and tracking and providing status reports of officer/supervisor training expiration dates.
Provides guidance and direction to all security officers, promoting an initiative-taking attitude in meeting the security and safety of the client.
Counsels' officers on job performance. Administer disciplines as required, assuring fair and equal treatment of all employees. Inspects to assure officers and supervisors are in proper uniform.
Monitors daily the content and quality of reports prepared by security personnel and provides guidance as necessary.
Assures compliance with applicable sections of the FIRST SOLAR Fire Prevention and Protection Manual as well as the Securitas Standard Operating Procedures and Policy Manual
Responds to all emergencies as outlined in local procedures. Provides information to assist in emergency handling.
Observes, investigates, and reports suspicious activities or unusual situations.
Establishes procedures and inspections that will assure the proper maintenance, care, and cleanliness of all assigned vehicles. Keep accurate files of inspections.
Communicate with client representatives to discuss service provided, identify problem areas, and takes corrective actions.
Assists in the selection orientation, development, and retention of staff in compliance with affirmative action commitments.
Conduct annual site assessments to ensure customer compliance needs.
Also supervises a Project Manager whose responsibilities are to complete First Solar audit items such as badging, fire extinguishers, KPIs, etc. Subsequently, you will present and report on the completion of those tasks to the client.

QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may very based upon the department size and/or geographic location.Knowledge
High School Diploma or G.E.D.; Associate degree or greater from an institution of higher learning preferred.
10 years of security or law enforcement experience and 5 years of supervision experience desired.
Strong understanding of security operations.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and utilize sound judgement.
ACT I, II and III Certification preferred.
Completion of the Certified Site Supervisor training preferred.
Working knowledge of MS Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Working knowledge of OSHA, CTPAT, and DHS preferred.
