Logistics Specialist

Description We are offering a contract for a Logistics Specialist role in Pataskala, Ohio. As a Logistics Specialist, your role will be crucial in managing various facets of our logistics operations, including invoice verification, record management, data entry, and customer service.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer invoices Uphold and update customer records as necessary Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required Provide flexible support in urgent situations Coordinate deliveries and appointments to ensure smooth operations Continually update and maintain various reports Carry out extensive data entry tasks Keep track of shipment statuses and perform necessary updates. Requirements Proficiency in communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively coordinate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders Strong customer service skills to handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly Demonstrated data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation Prior experience in a logistics role or a related field is highly desirable Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure Familiarity with logistics software or transport management systems would be a plus Ability to work well in a team and contribute to achieving collective goals A bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
