Flexo Press Operator I - 3rd Shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am

Avery Dennison is seeking skilled Flexographic Press Operators with at least 2 years of hands-on experience operating presses and managing technical setups. We have immediate openings for these skilled individuals to join our growing team. We offer competitive pay and a $2/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses, ensuring proper set-up of cylinders, plates, and ink fountains while troubleshooting technical issues on the fly to minimize downtimeEfficiently perform two-color set-ups on assigned presses, including cylinder preparation, plate mounting, ink fountain and roller adjustments, loading supply rolls, splicing webs, setting impressions, and processing set-ups with a focus on minimizing waste.Conduct thorough inspections of cylinders, plates, and other tooling/parts before and during production runs, identifying and addressing defects to maintain high-quality standards.Carefully review and interpret work orders, job specifications, and customer requirements to ensure accurate press set-up and production.Operate assigned printing press, ensuring adherence to production schedules and minimizing downtime. Monitor print quality throughout the run, making necessary adjustments to color and ink density to meet or exceed quality standards.Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
