Marketing Communications Writer ILocation: This position will work a hybrid model and candidate will need to be onsite 1 day per week. The ideal candidate will live within 50miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. (Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern)The Marketing Communications Writer I is responsible for providing creative and technical writing support for less complex marketing communication materials. The team is in search of a wordsmith who is comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. You’re highly organized, flexible and efficient. You have excellent editing, writing and organizational skills and a keep and confident understanding of both colloquial and formal grammar, spelling, formatting and communication styles. You’re energized by our brand purpose – to improve the health of humanity – and proud to help bring it to life.How you will make an impact:

Assists in developing creative writing solutions that provide a consistent message about our company and products.

Writes, edits, and reviews content for traditionally printed programs (marketing collateral, trade publication advertising, direct mail, etc.) and/or digital programs (online advertising, micro sites, text campaigns, etc.).

Ensures all materials meet internal and external business and legal standards and follows appropriate corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes.

Assists with the distribution process.

Assists with process improvements that support operational excellence, and supports business initiatives (plain language, standardization, going paperless, etc.).

Pickup pre-existing content to make revisions with input from Editorial Managers.

Format copy docs to adhere to compliance submission guidelines and ensure the content meets reading grade-level expectations.

Edit and revise a variety of written materials from letters to collateral to campaigns.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

Experience in health care or managed care preferred.

Has high standards and attention to detail preferred

Strong problem-solving, communication and relationship building skills preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred

Experience with Workfront (or similar project mgmt. programs) preferred

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $23.27 to $41.89.Locations: California; Colorado; Hawaii; Nevada; New York; Washington State; Jersey City, NJIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
