Job Title:Assistant VMI BuyerDepartment:Supply ChainReports to:VMI Buying ManagerClassification:500JOB SUMMARY:This position supports the procurement team with entry of purchase orders into E21 and maintaining cost for all divisions.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :
Input all purchase orders into plant MRP system accurately and on time
Manage costing in OLP to ensure proper billing to stores.
Manages reports for the procurement team
Will be trained to be a backup and cover buyer responsibilities when off or on vacation
Responsible for keeping KLN List updated and resolving and issues in MRP
May assume other duties as assigned.
Track Kroger store pulls to ensure 100% fill rate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent certification
Must have inventory control experience
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Good verbal and written communication skills
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Good math skills
Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables.
Must be willing to work some weekends when needed.
