Description:Responsibilities include assembling large and small fuel components used for tank trucks, tankers, and rail tanks cars using hand/power tools, fabrication machines, and testing equipment to perform work. They will use samples, drawings, schematics, as well as written and verbal instruction to perform tasks. Use of good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with parts is essential.Assemblers will be cross trained in the weld-assist area as well. In weld-assist candidates will grind/polish steel aluminum parts after they've been welded. This is a more labor intensive and repetitive work area.Top Skills Details:assembler, tool, manufactAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must Have-Meet and maintain daily production rates & goals as established and required by the company.-Ability to work all scheduled and adjusted times, and or work overtime to accommodate production.-Demonstrated proficiency in English comprehension and expression both verbal and written.-Ability to adjust to changing work environments; variable noise levels and varying temperatures.-Ability to tolerate prolonged standing and walking distances; physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive bending, reaching, and stooping motions; ability to lift up to 50 lbs manually and repetitively.-Excellent manual dexterity with full-finger and hand movement to perform repetitive motions and task.-Willing and able to wear all required personal protective equipment, including but not limited to steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, non-conductive jacket.Preferred-High School Diploma or GED preferred.-Knowledge of basic hand/power tools-Familiarity with grinding, rolling, and flanging process and operations.-High level of customer focus and ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times.-Self-directed, positive and ethical role model able to work with minimal supervision.Experience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
