As aHorizontal Directional Driller, you will be responsible for running Vermeer horizontal directional drill rigs and equipment supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure project. You will also be working directly with the Horizontal Directional Locator for guidance during drilling operations. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Experience:Horizontal drilling experience of at least two years. Practical working experience with underground construction for both conduit and fiber installation.
Education:High school diploma or GED
Abilities: Able to read, write, speak and understand English
Schedule:Hours will be determined as business needs dictate
Travel Ability: Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; you’ll travel 80% of the time to complete projects at different sites
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA safety certifications, operator certifications, Class A or B CDL, valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Horizontal drilling experience of five years or more
Practical working experience with underground construction and equipment for both conduit and fiber installation
