Job Description:
Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues
Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance tasks
Conduct minor and major repairs on building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Monitor and manage heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for optimal performance
Conduct regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
Install and set up new equipment and machinery
Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Participate in the development and implementation of safety awareness programs
Coordinate and communicate with other departmental staff regarding facility operations and maintenance issues
Document all installation, repair, and maintenance activities
Qualifications:
Proven experience as maintenance technician
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
