Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Psychology 001Schedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:Under supervision of licensed psychologists, the fellow, as a means to continue training and professional development, provides psychological services, both psychological assessment and psychotherapy, to inpatients, and outpatients. Provides consultation to other health care professionals in the hospital regarding psychological aspects of children’s behavior in general as well as psychological components of physical and chronic illness and hospitalization. Provides in-service education on psychological issues. Educates the patient and caregivers to improve health outcomes and appropriately involves patients and caregivers in care and decisions. Recognizes and advocates for each patient being an individual with unique health care needs and provides considerate, respectful care affirming the patient’s rights to make decisions regarding their own care.Department Specific Job Details:
