Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
Weld and fabricate structural steel components using MIG welding processes.
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring their proper functionality.
Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers, fostering clear and efficient collaboration.
Ensure that work is completed on time and meets the required quality standards.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship.
Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural steel welding, although not required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical capability to work in a demanding environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
