The Commercial Office Installation Technician will serve as a member of a team assigned to commercial office furniture installation projects. Responsible for all the processes and activities involved with executing the highest level of quality installations and or reconfigurations as executed from the Installation Foreman or Installation Supervisor. Primary responsibilities include understanding and accurate installation of various makes and models of systems furniture. The ideal candidate would have Floor to Ceiling Glass Installation knowledge, Window blinds installation experience and the ability to become driver qualified a plus (clean MVR, clean background, pass DOT drug screen and annual physical).
Maintain a thorough understanding of the basic steps and principles of systems furniture installation.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all manufacturers and models of systems furniture.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of installation documents and designs.
Develop understanding of Data/ Communication involvement in a project.
Develop understanding of Electrical involvement in a project.
Develop understanding of Information Systems involvement in a project.
Develop understanding of the Commercial Movers involvement in a project.
Working knowledge of all hand tools for installation needs.
Accept and perform additional job duties, assignments, or projects as directed by your immediate Supervisor or management for the betterment of the Company.
Maintains regular, punctual attendance and attends required meetings and/or training.
Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to become driver qualified a plus (clean MVR, clean background, pass DOT drug screen and annual physical)
Basic computer, keyboard proficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Conditions:
Full time, primarily Monday through Friday, overtime as necessary including nights and/or weekends.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and work primarily standing
Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse.
Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet program.
Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
A customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard.
