The Homecare Administrator will oversee and coordinate key aspects of agency operations, including staffing, compliance, caregiver management, and community relations. This part-time role (25–30 hours per week) is ideal for a seasoned homecare professional with strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of industry regulations who is ready to grow with a developing agency.
The right candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance strategic oversight with day-to-day operational responsibilities. They will ensure our agency operates in full compliance with Medicaid, Medicaid Waiver Programs, the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), and other regulatory standards—while driving operational efficiency and maintaining a high level of client and caregiver satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure smooth, efficient service delivery
Implement and monitor agency policies, procedures, and quality standards
Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine operational strategies that support agency growth
Staffing & Human Resources
Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
Oversee scheduling and ensure timely coverage for all client shifts, including urgent or last-minute needs
Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and support to caregiving staff
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure adherence to Medicaid, Waiver Programs, and DODD rules and regulations
Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee, client, and agency documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Oversee EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) processes and ensure timely and accurate reporting
Prepare for and support agency audits, inspections, and reviews
Community & Client Relations
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, case managers, and community partners
Serve as a key point of contact for resolving client or family concerns in a timely, professional manner
Qualifications
Proven administrative or leadership experience in homecare, healthcare, or a related field
Strong working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicaid Waiver Programs, and DODD compliance requirements
Familiarity with EVV systems, scheduling software, and state-mandated documentation processes
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
