Hello there! We are a business specializing in Residential Security & Smart-Home Surveillance, Luxury Home Entertainment Installations in a small-business environment.
Job Duties
●Install and configure A/V systems, including sound systems, projectors, and flat-panel TV
displays.
● Set up CCTV surveillance systems with IP cameras and monitoring software.
● Run, terminate, and label Cat5/Cat6 cables according to industry standards.
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation or service calls.
● Maintain detailed documentation, including network maps, cable runs, and
configurations.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
● 1-2 years of experience in low voltage installations is REQUIRED
● Familiarity with wiring standards and low voltage systems.
● Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
● Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills; verbal & written
- Tech-savvy: Proficient with computers, smartphones & mobile apps
Responsibilities
- Work hours: Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM
- Perform Installations, Troubleshooting & Maintenance of various technology systems
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job (lift/carry items as needed, climb ladders, operate hand tools & power tools)
- Verbal & Written Communication skills with an emphasis on excellent customer service
- Job includes working in all-weather elements depending on location & time of the year
- Ability to work independently, time-keep & time-management skills
Benefits & Compensation
- Pay: $18 - $22/HR (based on experience)
