Katalina's Cafe is looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our crew. We offer a competitive salary and great bonus potential, including PTO, health, dental and vision benefits, and a flexible schedule. Daytime hours only! 40-45 hours a week. Must have kitchen experience and a strong work ethic.
KM responsibilities include efficiently and accurately preparing menu items, enforcing back-of-house policies, including opening and closing lists, and leading our line cooks in excellence and morale!
Responsibilities:
Know and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, and policies & procedures.
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and kitchen.
Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products.
Handle, store and rotate all products properly & safely.
Create and maintain BOH schedule.
Enforce brand standards and uphold her mission statements
Maintain consistency and presentation in her recipes
Skills:
Restaurant back of house experience
Fast grill skills and ability to keep cool under pressure
Ability to communicate professionally and clearly
Leadership experience
Serv-Safe certification required but if not certified, willing to complete the training
Confidence to enforce rules and policies & procedures
Hiring and mentoring abilities
Experience opening a new restaurant a plus
