As a strategist, you are an expert at defining future state of the public service industry and related programs, and developing a path to enable our clients to get there. You consider yourself to be very adept at establishing and nurturing client relationships and are equally capable of applying those interpersonal skills to develop and maximize the talents of your team members. You are flexible and adaptable to client’s needs and the ever-changing public service industry and broader business landscape. These skills enable you to thrive on a wide range of engagements that help your clients set and achieve their strategic and operational objectives. The Work:
Play a wide variety of roles related to delivery and sales, shaping solutions for clients and maintaining and growing industry as their center of gravity.
Lead teams to deliver world-class business strategy solutions that meet the needs of clients in our Public Service Strategy practice.
Earn the trust of senior leaders at client organizations and partner with them to create strategic solutions at the intersection of business, technology, and operations.
Lead project delivery to make sure clients are positioned for long-term success with practical road maps and blueprints for carrying out strategy, managing change, monitoring and gauging processes, and taking remedial steps.
Provide overall guidance on quantitative analysis and research to generate recommendations and insights and drive outcomes that matter.
Build relationships with clients to sustain Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
Promote Accenture’s Strategy practice and role as a thought leader by creating content and taking part in professional forums, both internal and externa
Mentor junior members of the Strategy team and groom them for more responsibility
Travel: For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Here’s What You Need:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience consulting for or working as a public service industry strategy and management consulting practitioner
Minimum of 6 years of experience working at a leading strategy or management consulting firm
Bonus Points if:
You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
Have worked in a strategy role at a leading strategy or management consulting firm focused on government, higher education or non-profits
Prior experience in driving insights, benchmarking or using data-driven consulting capabilities and techniques or analytics tools
Strong client communication skills
A proven track record of delivery on complex and impactful client engagements involving high-value consulting type of work
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
