Job Overview:
As a Data Entry Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately entering and updating financial and customer information into our system. You will work closely with our Accounting and Sales teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payments. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and efficient, with a passion for accuracy and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain accurate financial and customer data in our system
- Review and verify information on purchase orders, invoices, and payments
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare and process invoices and payments in a timely manner
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments
- Reconcile accounts receivable balances and prepare reports as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Keep abreast of company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable and data entry
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in data entry and accounts receivable, preferably in a retail or manufacturing setting
- Proven experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
