Position Summary
Under limited supervision, performs electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, and wiring of moderate complexity. Works from production and assembly drawings, parts list, diagrams, schematics and verbal/written instructions within a Lean Manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Functions
Ability to follow processes while maintaining process control.
Capable of reading drawings
Use of hand tools, including power tools
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
Complete final test of the finished product by following standard test procedure and adhering to one-piece flow
Collect and input data into various systems, as required
Cross-train within the production cell to learn additional assembly, kitting and packaging operations
Maintain quality standards
Mechanical assembly of company products
Requirements
2 years assembly experience
Must be able to pass drug and background screening
Experience reading assembly drawings
Prior experience in electronic and electro-mechanical assembly and sub-assemblies
Wiring, soldering experience is not required, however, it is preferred
