We support the vision in ensuring that we are the best hospital to receive care and the best place to work by keeping up with standards and regulations.A caregiver in this position works 8:00am-5:00pm.A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Ensure accreditation by regulatory agencies.

Develop, coordinate, and implement activities to monitor compliance with regulatory standards.

Evaluate and ensure organizational compliance by interpreting, understanding, and analyzing clinical documentation and process flow to meet CMS Conditions of Participation and Joint Commission clinical standards.

Collaborate, analyze, and report findings from accreditation monitoring activities.

Report findings and provide recommendations to the Quality Patient Safety Institute.

Participate in the Institute-level Quality and Patient Safety Institute (QPSI) Teams. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Associate's degree in nursing or Bachelor's degree in a related Healthcare Discipline.

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or related healthcare discipline

Five years of acute hospital/ambulatory experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.

Requires extended periods of standing, walking and sitting.

Normal or corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.

Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.

Note: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.
