This is an ON-SITE role; Mon to Fri 8am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities Include:
perform clerical functions for revenue cycle management
process information needed to complete insurance verifications as well as investigating outstanding, or pending claims to resolve discrepancies
follow up on accounts that require further evaluation
Job Requirements Include:
· Education: High School diploma, Required
· Previous Medical/Behavioral Health Billing Experience of 4+ years - Highly Preferred
· Medicaid Billing Experience - Required
· Strong working knowledge of medical billing/collection practices.
· Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office software especially word and excel.
· Strong working knowledge of insurance and reimbursement process.
· Medicaid Billing Experience - Required
· Previous experience with Avatar (EMR) - Preferred
· Knowledgeable on insurance and reimbursement process.
