BACKGROUND
Specialized Construction is a well-establish, private paving company located on Harvard Ave. in Cuyahoga Heights. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Bookkeeper to oversee the company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books for accounts receivable and accounts payable, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. This is a full-time position. Prior experience in the use of FOUNDATION ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE is a must.
JOB DUTIES
Post daily financial transactions
Maintain accurate accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers
Routinely monitor financial transactions and reports
Reconcile bank accounts, monthly
Create and review financial reports with management team
Collaborate with external accountants and controllers, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry
Demonstrate a solid understanding of accounts receivable and payable principles
Demonstrate an ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
Experience with Excel worksheets, general accounting ledgers, AND accounting statements
Experience in the use of Foundation accounting software a MUST
Data entry skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software
Good organizational and work-flow management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
A strong orientation to customer service.
