Looking for someone willing to learn a trade and begin as an assistant that will be promoted to a full time installer once they have proven the skills required.
We are looking for someone that wants to be a part of this family owned business and is looking for a long career. We are not looking for someone who just wants another job. There may be a partial ownership opportunity if the right individual is willing to work hard in every phase of the operation. We are looking for a honest, trusting, dependable, trainable, and having integrity type of individual.
Most jobs will be located on the north and eastern part of Greater Cincinnati. We do a lot of work in the Loveland, Blue-Ash, Indian Hill, Montgomery, Anderson, Batavia, Milford, Morrow, Mason, and West Chester areas.
MUST HAVE A PICKUP TRUCK OR LARGE S.U.V.
THIS IS A 1099 JOB, IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS THAN PLEASE ASK.
You will be trained hands on in the field and you will need to have basic experience in electrical, pvc pipe work (for air venting not water work), basic carpentry, basic handyman skills, mechanically inclined skills needed. If you are mechanically inclined than you
do not need to worry about any skill areas you haven't done. We will train you as our goal is for you to become a full-time installer and you will be proficient in all areas before we promote you. A promotion does come with a raise in pay.
We install residential home products (Environmental Safety Systems). Once you are promoted to a full-time installer you will be provided with some tools (Large Bosch Hammer Drill, Ladders, Shop Vac, cordless Makita caulk gun, etc.), and replacement items such as replacement reciprocating blades, hole saw blades, fastening supplies, shop vac filters, etc.
(All Job Parts and Materials Provided).
You will be required to have your own hand tools such as cordless drill, cordless impact, cordless reciprocating saw, jig saw, wire cutters, tin snips, impact sockets, etc You will need to have these items as a full-time assistant. If you don't have these items starting as a full-time assistant than we will provide them to you in the early weeks until you earn some income to buy your own collection of tools.
Once you are promoted to a full-time installer you will be provided with a 12'x6' single axle with high head room V nose trailer with side door and large rear fold down ramp/door. (2-1/2 year old trailer). If you have never pulled a trailer than you will be trained as we want you to feel confident and safe. We will train you in the safety steps in pulling a trailer. (Daily Safety Checklist for trailer completed and signed by you each day).
You will not have to worry about finding jobs and managing a business. All jobs will be scheduled in advance by us.
You will be required to have your own liability insurance that meets our requirements and we can help you through that process.
You will be working on a 28' extension ladder (rated for 300 lbs. which is a very durable aluminum ladder) at times for 2 story homes. (not roofing, siding, painting, or window work). You will also be working on ranch homes, bi-levels, and tri-level homes.
You must be able to lift the weight of the ladder and other products. Not many heavy items as the ladder is most likely the heaviest.
You will be required to do some minor paperwork on each job (Check List of the Job Performed) which takes less than 10 minutes. (Once you are promoted to a full-time installer).
Once you are promoted to a full-time installer you will need to meet with the home owner at the end of each job and go over the ins-and-outs of the installed system and what the home owners will need to know.
You will need to bring your "A" Game as you will be working in peoples homes so CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A MUST.
You must present yourself in a PROFESSIONAL MANNER each and every day on the job. Company shirts will be provided.
