Shift = 2nd shift (working 3:30p-2a Mon-Thurs) or Weekend shift (working Fri-Sun)
Pay = $25/hour plus shift differential
Duration = 6 months+ (Temp to hire)
As a Welder, you will responsible for performing various types of TIG welding to repair/replace damaged areas and cracks on aircraft parts and fixtures.
Welding responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-Welding on titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and nickel alloy parts meeting NDT specifications and production schedules
-Inspect welds for compliance and adjust as necessary.
-Blend, grind, or polish welds
-Use precision tools for measuring and ensuring dimensional accuracy.
Qualified candidates must have:
-Minimum 3 years welding experience with ability to pass welding tests for aircraft welding certifications
-Strong mathematical skills
-Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documents
-High school diploma or equivalent.
