Mars Manufacturing (MM) is a fast growing machine shop that is built on decades of strong customer service and support. MM has grown year after year and is looking to continue that trend as it expands its’ team to include this role.
Job Summary:
Mars Manufacturing is looking to hire a Machine Shop Manager that will be responsible for quote jobs, programing machines and communicating with customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Quote all customer jobs
Design/engineer part process
Research outside processes (Plating, Coatings and Heat Treat)
Meet with new potential customers to continue growth
Required Skills/Abilities:
Programing CNC Machines (Both Mills and Lathes)
Familiar with CAD/CAM software For 4th axis work
Setup and run jobs on both CNC lathes and mills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Must be able to stand at machine for an extended period of time if working on the floor
