My family is seeking a live-in caregiver to provide support for our mother in her late 60s who is facing advancing Parkinson's Disease. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in caregiving, or is in the medical or nursing fields, to gain hands-on experience with a flexible schedule, all while saving on housing costs.
Our mother is so great and we want her to be able to stay happy and healthy in her home. Our mom lives alone but my siblings and I (three in total) live nearby and we spend significant time with her on evenings and weekends. She is personable, social, enjoys art and design, and is eager to find the right fit for the role— as are we!
She lives in a beautiful home in the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood. Candidate would provide live-in care for 30-40 hours a week (or if preferable can arrange part time) and would be provided with comfortable, private living quarters, competitive salary, and generous personal benefits. Main tasks would include activities of daily live such as morning routines including dressing, mobility assistance, helping stay on top of medication schedule, transportation for errands/outings, and light household chores including meal prep.
