Role Description
This is a full-time role for Childcare Teachers in Lebanon, OH at Oak Spring Academy. The Child Care Teachers will provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children in our care. The successful candidate will carry out a range of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of these children. They will provide basic needs such as feeding and diapering as well as plan and implement activities such as storytelling, games, and crafts for children.
Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. A degree or certification in early childhood education, child development, or related field is preferred.
Compassionate and nurturing, with a genuine appreciation and enjoyment of working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Experience with developmental assessments, behavior management strategies, and creating learning opportunities that are both challenging and age-appropriate.
Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organize the learning environment while adhering to state licensing requirements.
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within first 30 days of employment).
Must pass required background checks and have up to date immunizations.
