Restaurant Depot Assistant Branch Manager FULL-TIME $31/hr 10198 OH-43, Streetsboro, OH 44241 The Assistant Branch Manager reports directly to the Branch Manager and has the overall responsibility for ensuring operations in the Distribution Center is being maintained in accordance with company policy and guidelines. In addition, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for the entire operations of the Distribution Center in the absence of the Branch Manager. Depending on the size and volume of the warehouse, a warehouse may utilize one or two Assistants. The duties of the Assistant include overseeing major departments in the warehouse, receiving, shipping, perishables and frozen area, dry goods floor, inventory control. Managing the order picking process. In addition, Branch Assistants may also oversee administrative functions, safety issues, HACCP, in-store audits, physical inventory preparation. The Assistant Branch Manager provides leadership and guidance to all store employees and department Managers and ensures he/she is communicating all pertinent issues to the Branch Manager. The Assistant Manager should also provide continuous feedback to employees to ensure optimum productivity is always at its peak. Schedule - Shift start: 6:00AM - Shift length: 9 - 10 hours - Days: Open availability required, some over time may be required Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 90 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required), - Minimum 4 years of Distribution experience in food service or grocery distribution in a supermarket, club warehouse, big box or mass merchandising environment. - Background in P&L, Inventory control, merchandising, hiring / training staff, front end, merchandising, payroll, security/loss prevention mandatory. - Strong leadership skills, capable of running a high volume distribution operation. - Must have excellent communication, organizational and people management/training skills. - Commitment to company values. - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs About Restaurant Depot Restaurant Depot is a Members-Only Wholesale Cash & Carry Foodservice Supplier.
