Job Description: As a mechanic at SH OH Truck Repair, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and equipment. Your expertise will ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet, helping us continue to provide top-notch service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair procedures.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and ensure safety.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair needs and progress.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
