Security & Loss Prevention Manager

The Security & Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for the complete security management of a 60,000-square-foot site located in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role entails overseeing the protection and safety of employees in addition to the efficiency of security services, policies & technology, which include a GSOC, guard services, and state of the art security technology. The Security & Loss Prevention Manager must possess strong knowledge in security technology, proficient in people/vendor management, and capable of developing safety/security/project initiatives. This role reports to the Security Operations, Risk & Loss Prevention Director but also requires close collaboration with other teams, the facilities manager, and other department leads to coordinate protocols and initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIESTransition and build-out management; Partner with appropriate security vendors and providers to meet installation milestones and deadlines for the on-time opening of Raleigh.Coordinate with all teams to ensure a smooth transition of equipment, supplies, and workspaces.Track any open items, finishing's, and adjustments to installations related to construction, in coordination with internal and external construction teams, to ensure all installations are functional and meet expectations.Pre-screen contracted Security Guards for the facility, provide training for all equipment and operationsImplement a Security Manual for all emergency responses, important POCs, Evacuation plans, Security Device plans and appropriate servicing contactsIdentify and anticipate needs for specific equipment and services to adapt spaces to APNA standards and ensure operational continuity.Building Security management and maintenance; Supervise security operations for the Raleigh facility, including protection of physical security assets, technology and safety of employees with security staff.Manage the security of product/people flow between secure zones. Ensure compliance in specialized areasManage the periodic maintenance of Security systems (CCTV, Security Portals, Vault mechanisms, Burg Systems, x-ray devices, card access), in coordination with the vendorGlobal Security Operations Center; Responsible for the 24/7 operations, maintenance and oversight of the GSOCMaintain records and respond to alarm incidents in the retail networkUtilize technology to access and maintain systems (card access, burg, CCTV)Initiate Security R&M for retail technologyConstruction and renovation projects; Support any renovation and construction projects covering all security and implementation aspects.Coordinate with the facility manager and security vendors to ensure project execution adheres to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.Safety and Raleigh Team trainings; Identify, develop, maintain and host trainings for all safety aspects in partnership with the Facilities manager. Assist in safety and crisis management planning as necessaryComplete all new hire onboardings for Raleigh employeesTrain all new Security Guards within 24 hours of starting in Raleigh
