Position: Industrial Customer Service Admin
Department: Customer Service
Location: Jamestown, ND Office
Job Summary: Provide customer service, sales, and technical support with new and existing customers in a fast paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist customers over the phone and electronically with quotes, orders, and product information.
Input and track order data.
Coordinate vendor orders and create appropriate order and invoice documents.
Provide ongoing support to sales, management, and operation personnel.
Respond to inquiries and requests by phone, electronically and in-person.
Read and analyze steel building drawings and convey information over phone.
Create and maintain organized files according to company procedure.
Troubleshoot and problem solve possible processing and delivery errors.
Meets performance standards and goals set by manager on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Provide other support to management when needed.
Qualifications: Great attitude, self-driven, and ambitious with excellent verbal communication and written skills. Must be well versed in phone etiquette and customer service, computer proficient, detail oriented, and a fast learner.
Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and square footage. Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Preferred Industry experience in construction a plus, but not required.
