Position DescriptionLocate and acquire price and delivery on electronic components, materials and hardware. Assembling and distributing quote packages to different departments within the company for estimates and then compiling the data.Every position at Ideal Aerosmith plays an important role in sustaining a lean culture. The term "continuous improvement" means incremental improvement of products, processes, or services over time, with the goal of reducing waste to improve workplace functionality, customer service, or product performance.Job ResponsibilitiesLocate and acquire price and delivery on electronic components, material, hardware and tooling.Assemble and distribute quote packages to different departments throughout company.Create formal quotations and written communications with customers.Investigate and maintain familiarization with tooling, hardware, wire, etc.Initiate, lead, and implement continuous improvement activities to achieve profitability and improve quality.Other duties as assigned.Qualification RequirementsHigh School graduate (diploma or GED)Technical background particularly in electronics is preferred.Background in accounting beneficial.Ability to understand detailed documents including assembly drawings, bills of material and machined parts.2 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Computer experience in Microsoft Office and general internet searches.This position requires employee to work in a restricted facility that requires US citizenship or Permanent Residence (Green Card).Skill RequirementsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work with little supervision.Strong organizational skills.Ability to meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal and communicaiton skills.Ability to work on assignments that lack detailed instruction.Accurate completion of paperwork.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift or move equipment/materials weighing up to 30 pounds.Ability to work for extended periods at computer workstation.Ability to kneel, crouch and reach.Ideal Aerosmith is an Equal Opportunity Employer
