About Sylvan of Grand Forks
We specialize in building confidence, skills, and academic success for K–12 students. Our programs are proven, our instructors are passionate, and our students are excited to learn!
What You’ll Do:
Deliver personalized instruction in reading, writing, or math using pre-designed lessons.
Usually work with up to 3 students at a time — no behavior management needed.
Provide encouragement and feedback to help students grow.
Evaluate and document progress using Sylvan’s tools and materials.
Who We’re Looking For:
Passion for helping students succeed.
Bachelor’s degree required
Dependable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
Pay:
$15–$18/hr
Schedule:
Afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts available.
Typical Hours:
Monday–Friday: 3:00–8:00 PM or 4:00-8:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
You choose your availability. We schedule around it!
Clean Environment
Sanitizing and disinfecting procedures are in place.
Small group instruction with appropriate distancing.
