Job Role: ETL Developer Location: Remote/Fargo, ND Duration: Long Term JOB SUMMARY
- The ETL Developer is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of data extracts, transformations or loads, supporting the ingestion and transformation of data as needed for the client's data warehouse and any data file extracts that utilize Enterprise Data Analytics Solutions data assets.
- ETL development will utilize the Microsoft SQL platform, specifically SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- The ETL Developer will be responsible for analyzing the business requirements for data file requests, designing, developing and deploying fully automated ETL jobs to produce data files
- Design, develop and deploy ETL programs to facilitate the receipt of data from various data sources, and the loading of data into destination tables within the overall data architecture framework.
- Experience with data lakes, data warehouses and other data management components utilized to establish data assets for reporting, analytics, and other data integration services.
- Experience with end-to-end solutioning for file creation and distribution, as well as supporting ETL production processes and operations
- Works with various customers, prospects and stakeholders, understands and translates business use cases and/or requirements into data models, data flow diagrams and data integration routines.
- Advanced understanding of healthcare data models, identifying data sources and mapping data to required file specifications
- Designs and automates data quality and data validation/verification functions as part of the overall solution
- Expand the company's use of data as a strategic enabler of corporate goals and objectives
- Required: Minimum of 3 Years
- Preferred: Minimum of 4 Years
- Experience with computer programming language(s) coding, building deployment software
- Experience with ASP.NET, SSIS, SSRS, C#, and the .NET Framework required
- Experience with Axway (managed file transfer) and Opcon Scheduler a plus
- Solid knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and practices
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
- Must have the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a dynamic work environment
- Strong understanding database methodology, data analysis, SQL queries, ETL and business information management applications.
- Experience designing, building and supporting ETL processes
- Strong database engineering skills on the MS SQL Server platform
- Experience with traditional as well as agile software development processes and methodologies
- Work well independently as well as with a diverse group of business users and technical experts to gather and clarify requirements as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
