Veolia is looking for a Technical Account Manager to drive business growth and
build relationships as a market leader dedicated to solving the toughest water
and process challenges.Role Summary/Purpose
As a Technical Account Manager, you are the Veolia point of contact and expert
in the field of water treatment for our industrial customers in the Northern part of
The Netherlands. Your mission is to guarantee quality service and product
delivery to current customers, while also creating opportunities with both existing
and new customers. You get energy from working autonomously and are eager
to perform both commercial and hands-on work, taking on a new challenge every
day.
He or she reports to the Area Manager and will cover the regions of Drenthe,
Friesland, Groningen, and Overijssel. The suitable candidate preferably lives in
this region.Essential responsibilities
● Managing and building relationships with existing customers is central to
your role. You are responsible for the continuous follow-up of agreed-upon
service, price management, and product delivery according to the correct
quality standards.
● You actively focus on building positive relationships with your regular
customers and constantly look for new opportunities.
● You seek expansion opportunities for applications and sustainability
projects with both existing and new customers.
● Due to your technical attitude and hands-on approach, you perform
technical work and can make necessary verbal and written
recommendations to ensure problem-free operations for the customer.
● You seek the optimal solutions for our customers that are sustainable by
nature.
● You easily make contacts with other departments and are thus able to
efficiently fulfill customer needs with the necessary teamwork.
● As a team player, you are helpful to your colleagues and actively
participate in team meetings, training sessions, etc.● Due to your high degree of independence, you create your own schedule,
taking into account various customer needs and other tasks.
● You find a balance between following your schedule and the flexibility to
deviate from it if priorities demand it (possibly at the last minute).
● You realize the importance of a broad and constructive network both
within and outside the organization and actively invest in it yourself.
● You highly value safety and integrity and actively promote them, both
within the organization and with our customers.
● You will report to the Area Manager of your region.
