ECommerce Production Support

Ideal part-time job for a graduate student or person looking for flexibility. 20 to 25 hours per week. Preferred that you can work part-time five days a week from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM or 4PM to 9PM. This is an engineering and technology company that sells globally via our website QualityGlassEngraving.com. Immediate opening for the right individuals.

We are small and if you are willing to learn, you have the opportunity to be taught all aspects of an eCommerce, Technology, and Manufacturing business. A recent change in ownership now aligns this production support role with a rare opportunity to learn and grow with the business.

This position will be responsible for running production orders of our barware on 1 to 4 desktop laser engravers in the evening or night. Tasks include setting up the laser for new jobs, running production, packaging and shipping orders. Must be comfortable with computers and have an aptitude for working with computer controlled equipment. Co2 Laser Engraving experience is necessary . Individual must be responsible, attentive to detail and have excellent problem solving skills. Knowledge of Lightburn or CorelDraw would be ideal. We don't use Adobe Software like Photoshop or Illustrator. This position is responsible for completing orders, plus packing and shipping engraved products to ensure the product is not broken in transit. Clean, inspect, and prepare products prior to and after engraving. Packing and Shipping of products. Please respond with a Resume or Work Experience Summary. On-the-job training provided.

Flexible Schedule: This part-time position offers a shift from 4pm-8pm, Monday through Friday, accommodating daytime class schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.

Assist in inventory management, including stocking and organizing supplies.

Perform routine checks and maintenance of the warehouse equipment.

Glass Engraving Duties

Operate glass engraving machines as needed, ensuring precision and quality.

Understand basic engraving techniques and apply them to create designs.

Monitor and maintain engraving machines, performing basic troubleshooting.

Packing and Shipping

Carefully pack and prepare engraved glass products for shipping.

Coordinate with the shipping department for timely order dispatch.

Keep accurate records of inventory and shipments.

Office and Administrative Support

Assist in various office tasks as requested by the Lead Engraver or Warehouse Manager.

Participate in team meetings and process improvement initiatives.

Handle administrative duties such as answering phones or data entry as needed.

Compensation: This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $12 per hour.

Work Hours: The work schedule is 4 hours per weekday, from 3pm to 8pm or 5pm to 9pm.

- This is a production job in a clean working environment

- Lift packages that weigh up to 50 lbs

- The knack for paying attention to detail to ensure previous operators and equipment has delivered a quality product to your workstation.

- Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of workstation and general area.

- Work well with co-workers and professional staff

- This person will be cross-trained to assist in all areas of the business as bottlenecks occur to help keep orders flowing as required.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in warehouse management or glass engraving is a plus.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
