Senior Chemist-GC/GCMS

Senior Chemist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform routine and special analyses, utilizing GC / GCMS and other related lab equipmentProvide support to method development and validation of methods utilizing GC / GCMS and other related lab equipmentRead, understand, and interpret diverse analytical procedures presented in a variety of written stylesPerform instrument calibration and instrument troubleshootingReview and verify data, compile data packagesRecognize errors, identify root causes, recommend process improvementsRevise or write SOP’s as neededWork independently and efficientlyDocument work clearly and perform tests accuratelyCommunicate effectively with client staff members
