We are currently looking for a Lead Mechanic for our transportation maintenance shop.
Job Responsibilities
Perform maintenance work on commercial trailers, including framed dump trailers, frameless dump trailers, and walking floor trailers. This includes tarp pole replacement, tarp repair, lighting adjustments, etc.
Maintains all maintenance inventory and may order replenishment stock.
May deliver loads on a back-up basis, if skills and certifications allow.
Prioritizing and reporting on various maintenance issues.
May work with and/or direct maintenance subcontractors on site.
May work with other maintenance technicians on group projects as assigned.
Prior mechanical experience is required. A Class A CDL is strongly preferred.
