Position SummaryThe Treatment Technician is responsible for the safe and effective application of turf, tree, and ornamental treatments on residential and commercial properties. This includes fertilization, pest and disease control, and weed management using industry-approved techniques and products. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesApply fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides according to prescribed schedules and label instructions.Identify turf, plant, and pest problems and report findings to supervisors.Calibrate and maintain treatment equipment (sprayers, spreaders, etc.).Accurately complete service records, treatment logs, and product usage reports.Maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned vehicle and equipment.Communicate professionally with clients when on-site, answering basic questions as needed.Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of all chemicals and materials.Comply with all company policies, local/state/federal regulations, and safety procedures.QualificationsValid NC Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.Prior experience in landscape or lawn treatment required.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
