About This RoleWe believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for:We are seeking a talented test engineer with an Electrical Engineering background to support a major US Air Force Program. As a Test Engineer, you will perform planning, coordination, and execution of electronic component, subsystem, and full system tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. A strong candidate will possess at least 5 years' experience in a Test Engineering role. Responsibilities
Generate Test Plans that provide verification of system requirements and identify necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
Collaborate with multi-discipline design team to produce Test Procedures and Data Collection methods.
Coordinate, schedule and lead test activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards.
Familiarity with Mil-Spec testing requirements as well as vibration, shock, and environmental test methods and equipment is desired
Perform Test Readiness Reviews and produce Test Reports
Lead both in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders.
Perform preliminary “quick-look” analysis and provide post-test de-brief to engineering team and customers
Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases
Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and in writing) and have good organizational skill.
QualificationsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and minimum of 5 years of related experience, master's degree in engineering and 3 years of related experience
Experience with U.S. DoD product development
Active Secret clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required How We Care
