This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design, in-depth circuit analysis and electronic debugging, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs. The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, LTSpice, PSPICE and other simulation products. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers. Responsibilities
Designing and developing mixed signal electronic designs with microcontrollers and microprocessors
Specification and implementation of High Resolution A/D and D/A conversion systems
Developing schematics in OrCAD/Allegro design tools
Analyzing circuit designs
Testing and debugging electronic hardware during engineering test
Incorporation of Manufacturability and Testability features
Design of Flexible interconnects
Working in a collaborative and cross-functional discipline environment
QualificationsQualifications
5 years of relevant experience in Mixed Signal electronics design
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Experience with designing High density printed circuit boards.
Knowledgeable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture / OrCAD Capture and PSPICE / LTSpice
Knowledgeable with simulation & analysis of various circuits under worst case situations (i.e. Worst Case Circuit Analysis)
Familiarity with parts derating guidelines and uses
Capable of basic modification of component models.
Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICE
Familiarity with various lab instrumentation, testing, and debugging
Familiarity with Team Center PLM Tools
Familiarity supporting PCB and PWA layout
Familiarity with digital design and standard data buses
Experience with Ordnance Initiation / Fuze and Safety Architecture design a plus
Possesses or has ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance
