Payroll Accountant

Description We are on the lookout for a proficient Payroll Accountant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry based in Trinity, North Carolina. In this role, your primary focus will be to manage payroll accounting functions, maintain accurate records, and handle related customer queries with utmost efficiency. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Maintain and manage comprehensive customer credit records. Efficiently resolve customer inquiries related to payroll accounting. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Utilize various accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Concur for effective payroll management. Administer benefits payroll and bi-monthly payroll while ensuring compliance with payroll laws. Handle domestic and international payroll, including multi-state payroll. Manage full cycle payroll for varying employee sizes, from under 100 to over 500 employees. Reconcile payroll and handle payroll tax reporting and returns. Ensure adherence to payroll compliance and audit procedures.
