Respond to and manage telephone inquiries from blood donors, tele recruitment staff, and regional blood collection staff regarding donor eligibility and concerns.

Respond to and manage email inquiries regarding donor eligibility and concerns

May assist with donor investigations.

May assist with donor deferral entry into the database.  

Perform other related duties as necessary to maintain the team workflow.

Shift: Monday - Thursday 2:30 PM- 11PM & Friday 1:00 PM- 9:00 PMPay Information: The salary for this position is $15.76/ hr. + Shift Differential (+$1.75 after 3pm, +$2.75 on weekends)WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Provide appropriate care for donors reporting complications from their donation.

Take appropriate and timely product action in response to additional information provided. The Red Cross supports a variety of cultural and community resource groups for employees and volunteers. At the American Red Cross, your uniqueness can shine!WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE:Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required. 

Associate Degree in Science or health care field is preferred. 

Minimum three years of related customer service experience is preferred.

Prior medical terminology and medical background experience preferred. 

The ability to read, write, and verbally communicate at the high school to college-level is required.

Intermediate to advanced level computer skills with Microsoft Office applications in a Windows environment is required.
